Career Design School Launches Its First Centre in Korba, Marking a New Era for Media & Entertainment Education

Career Design School (CDS), a reputed name in creative and professional skill development, officially inaugurated its new branch in Korba this weekend, expanding its footprint beyond Bhopal. The launch marks the establishment of the district’s first state-of-the-art training centre dedicated exclusively to media and entertainment education.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by District Collector Shri Ajit Vasant as the Chief Guest, who formally dedicated the centre to the youth of Korba. Addressing the gathering, the District Collector described the initiative as a “historic step towards shaping future-ready careers” and appreciated the institution’s vision of bringing globally relevant skill training to regional talent.

The newly launched Career Design School, Korba, is equipped with advanced infrastructure and industry-aligned learning facilities aimed at nurturing skills in animation, visual effects (VFX), and other creative domains. All courses offered at the centre are certified by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ensuring nationally recognised qualifications and enhanced employability for students.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of Career Design School highlighted that the global animation and VFX industry has already crossed USD 400 billion, creating immense opportunities for skilled professionals. With this new centre, CDS aims to bridge the gap between local talent and global creative industries by providing practical, industry-focused education under expert guidance.

The launch of Career Design School in Korba is expected to play a significant role in empowering the region’s youth, offering them access to quality skill development without the need to migrate to metropolitan cities.
